Treating Dogs with Herbs

A dog lying relaxed and being lovingly supported with natural remedies In Mother Nature's herb chest there is a great deal of good for our dogs. Sadly, natural remedies are used far too rarely with our four-legged friends. Field horsetail, for example, is an old, proven remedy for dogs. Likewise, occasional, milder inflammations in a dog's mouth can be treated very well yourself. Exactly how this works, you will now discover.

Field horsetail as natural, caring support

As a companion, when other remedies do not help sufficiently or upset the dog's stomach, field horsetail can contribute very well to relief. It also works well from within on wounds that will not heal or that itch and fester. As a tea, field horsetail is used for bacterial and inflammatory conditions of the kidney and bladder. For the caring treatment of a dog, you brew a tea with 1 part field horsetail and 10 parts water. You can also add a little honey so the tea tastes better, provided the dog likes honey.

The cooled tea can then be mixed with the drinking water or with the food. But the dried herb can also easily be mixed into the meal or stirred into a little yoghurt. We recommend using this herb in particular for the caring regeneration of the tissue.

Tackling bad breath caringly with the power of herbs

If a dog's mouth smells rather strongly, this can have various causes. Bacteria in the mouth and throat area or problems with the gastrointestinal tract could be behind it. In most cases, however, it is bacteria in the mouth that cause the bad breath. Here too, Mother Nature can provide a remedy through a special herbal blend. Bad breath in a dog is therefore nothing you simply have to put up with.

We recommend a blend containing 16 different herbs. It works antiseptically, combats bad breath and caringly regulates the pH value in the mouth. This reduces plaque and harmonises digestion. It can even help the whole dog to a better body odour. If you also want to remove stubborn deposits, we advise combining it with natural dental care products.

Special relief for inflammation of the gums

Thanks to the antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effect of special herbal blends, these can also be used for other problems in the mouth, for example gum inflammation. Through targeted, caring administration, the triggers of gum inflammation can be relieved and even combated preventively. The ideal combination and the proportions of the active ingredients were researched for a long time in order to align them exactly with the treatment goal. Various herbs have long been used successfully in humans too for inflammation of the gums, and precisely this works excellently in dogs as well.

  • Caring relief of inflammation in the mouth and throat area
  • Natural regulation of the pH value for healthy gums in everyday life
  • Holistic support of wound healing from within
  • Harmonisation of digestion for caringly fresh breath

This article serves as general information and as a caring introduction to natural ways to support your dog's health.
