Ensuring healthy dogs with the power of algae
Algae are a natural source of vitamins, minerals and trace elements that are ideal for improving a dog's diet. They are mainly found in the North Atlantic, but also in the North Sea and Baltic Sea as well as in subtropical and Arctic waters.
They have amazing properties in terms of the health of the organism and oral flora, such as softening tartar.
What is in algae?
The combination of vitamins, trace elements and minerals in algae is unique. They contain many important micronutrients such as the natural vitamins A, E and C, minerals such as magnesium, calcium, potassium and phosphorus as well as trace elements such as zinc, iron and iodine. By feeding algae, the need for minerals and trace elements can be largely covered and they contribute to a normal acid-base balance.
Algae are also known for their high concentration of alginic acid, which binds toxic heavy metals such as mercury and cadmium and can thus be excreted before they can have harmful effects on the body.
The benefits for teeth and oral flora
