About us

Close to nature » from the very beginning

A love of dogs and a bond with nature unite the founding team of DOG FIT by PreThis^®. We spent our childhood in nature, far away from the city, surrounded by dogs, cats and horses. Years later, these experiences brought our team together. Today we are a family-run company devoted entirely to dogs.

It all began more than 25 years ago with our miniature pinscher Rambo. For him, we started putting together feed supplements made from natural ingredients. This is how DOG FIT by PreThis^® came about.

Every day we experience the wonders of nature

Nature surrounds us every day and is our greatest source of inspiration. From the very beginning, our aim was to develop feed supplements that complement daily feeding. They do not replace a veterinary examination or treatment. Our products are meant to suit the needs of our dogs, without artificial flavourings and preservatives.

Since it was founded, our company has grown steadily.

From dog people for dog people

Dogs, cats and horses not only shape our private lives, they have also become our vocation, which we pursue with dedication every day. Our products are created together with our vet and with experts in nutrition and herbalism. This is how we want to be there for many dog owners.

We rely on natural ingredients that we select carefully.

Out of conviction » transparency and honesty

Our products are subject to clear quality standards and are made in Germany. Our manufacturing facility is certified to Feed Quality, HACCP and ISO 9001. Every batch undergoes quality controls. In addition, we have them tested by independent laboratories for microbiological purity, residues and foreign substances.

We attach great importance to a complete and legally compliant declaration of all ingredients. In this way we combine natural ingredients with veterinary knowledge and modern manufacturing, for products that complement your dog's daily feeding.

For you and your dog

Our passion for dogs, our experience and our expertise are the foundation of DOG FIT by PreThis^®. Some recipes are inspired by Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and by Ayurveda. Our products are sorted by area, for example Joints & Bones, Skin & Coat, Breath & Teeth and Digestion.

Our products come with personal service and competent advice. We are constantly developing and, to do so, we exchange ideas with experts: with vets, animal physiotherapists and dog trainers, for example with the MARTIN RÜTTER dog schools of Ramona Houscht and Franziska Herre. We work together with both dog schools.

Animal welfare & environment

We deliberately do without artificial flavourings, preservatives, attractants and flavour enhancers.

Our bags are 100% recyclable. We have switched our packaging from tins to bags. They are lighter and take up less space, so smaller orders fit into smaller boxes. This way we save up to 3 tonnes of plastic waste a year.

We ship with DHL GoGreen. The fulfilment centre that handles our shipping operates a photovoltaic system covering 60,000 m².

A future with responsibility

DOG FIT by PreThis^® stays true to its guiding principle: we combine natural ingredients with sound knowledge and modern manufacturing, for an active dog's life. Our commitment does not end with our products. It also extends to the well-being of all animals, which is why we support animal welfare organisations.
