Important information

We do our best to keep all information in the shop up to date and correct. It reflects our current knowledge and may change. The product images and packaging shown in the shop are for illustration and may differ from the delivered product. You can find further details in our General Terms and Conditions.

Important note on our complementary feed for dogs

Our products are complementary feeds for the daily feeding of dogs. They are not medicines and are not intended to treat or cure diseases. They replace neither a balanced, species-appropriate diet nor a veterinary examination or treatment. Unless the product page says otherwise, they are intended for adult dogs. Please store them out of the reach of children, in a cool, dry place protected from light. Stick to the recommended daily amount, which you can find on the product page under “Dosage instructions”.

Illnesses and medication

If your dog has an illness, for example of the thyroid, or is receiving medication, talk to your vet before giving it. We cannot give any information on the use of medication, its side effects or interactions, and we cannot advise on veterinary diagnoses. If your dog has symptoms or suddenly changes, please have your dog examined by your vet first.

Duration of use

Our complementary feeds are intended for regular, daily supplementation. Give them regularly and over a longer period, at least six weeks, and permanently if you like. Regular feeding matters more than a large single amount. Combine them with a balanced, species-appropriate diet and enough exercise. If your dog changes or you have questions, contact your vet.

Painkillers: please note!

Never give your dog painkillers without talking to your vet first. Medicines such as acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin), paracetamol or ibuprofen can be toxic to dogs. An overdose or wrong use can have serious health consequences. Your vet determines the right medicine and the right dose.

Interactions with medication

If your dog is receiving medication prescribed by a vet, talk to your vet before giving complementary feed. Whether interactions occur depends on the medicine in question. With complementary feeds, they cannot be ruled out. Your vet can assess your situation.

Colour and consistency of our products

Our products are natural products. Colour and consistency can vary, for example because of the light while the plants grow, the length of the growing period, the season of the harvest and the drying. Differences from batch to batch are therefore normal. Every batch goes through quality controls. Which ingredients a product contains is shown on the product page under “Ingredients”.

Important note on the Futtercheck

A Futtercheck is not individual nutritional advice with a feeding plan. The information from it is not a diagnosis, therapy or treatment. It serves to review the feed and as a general feeding recommendation. The responsibility for your dog lies with you. A Futtercheck does not replace a veterinary examination or treatment. It cannot take pre-existing conditions and medication into account. Liability is governed by the statutory provisions and our General Terms and Conditions.
