DOG FIT by PreThis® partner: Petra Severitt – Pets Vital physiotherapy and animal health practice
We are very glad about the following introduction of the Pets Vital practice. Enjoy reading!
In our new, modernly equipped treatment rooms in Ahlshausen we deal with:
- Prevention
- Rehabilitation
- Pain relief
Maintaining the mobility, the well-being and the freedom from pain of your animal is close to our hearts.
We combine the latest technologies (e.g. laser acupuncture, low-level laser, magnetic field therapy, Novafon, sound wave therapy, thermotherapy), physical and manual therapies (Dorn-Breuss, movement therapy) – always paired with the holistic view of our patient's health.
Aqua training
Therapy on the underwater treadmill is among the most successful physiotherapeutic applications. The joint-sparing buoyancy of the water, its temperature and massage effect play a major role here. By adjusting the water level, speed, duration and incline angle, the training is individually adapted.
Especially for older dogs with joint problems, overweight dogs or after operations, this therapy is particularly helpful. It is used for the prevention and treatment of a large number of conditions, such as:
- Arthrosis
- Spinal conditions
- Herniated disc, spondylosis
- Knee injury (cruciate ligament rupture and patellar luxation)
- Elbow and hip dysplasia
- Gait rehabilitation
- Increase in endurance, muscle strength and coordination
- Weight reduction
