I have three dogs from an animal shelter, and all of them had tartar buildup when they first came to me. I don’t even want to know what they were fed before—I had to get them back on their feet first. It worked very well for two of them, but with the third one I had to give it a little extra help and carefully scrape off some of the tartar, since the buildup was much harder. For adult dogs of any size and breed. We especially have in mind dogs whose daily oral hygiene should be accompanied via the food. WHITE dental plus is a complementary feed for daily feeding and no substitute for a balanced diet. If your bitch is pregnant or nursing, or your dog is currently under veterinary treatment, please discuss supplementary feeding with your veterinary practice first. You will find the right size for your dog's weight under “Dosage instructions”.
Is WHITE dental plus well tolerated, are there any side effects?
WHITE dental plus is generally very well tolerated. We select our ingredients for high quality and a natural composition. As with any natural product, an individual dog may still react sensitively to a single ingredient. If you notice signs of intolerance, pause the supplement and get in touch with us. When can I expect to see first results?
Give WHITE dental plus regularly for at least six weeks, in some cases longer. How quickly you notice something varies from dog to dog and depends on your dog's individual needs. How long does one pack of WHITE dental plus last?

My dog won't eat the granules: what can I do?
That can almost always be solved. It is best to mix the granules thoroughly into the food so that it is evenly distributed. With fussy dogs it helps to start with a smaller amount and increase it over a few days, to mix the granules with a little liver pâté or to moisten it with broth. What matters most is regularity: an occasional missed dose is not a problem, but supplementary feeding should not be interrupted for longer periods.
What makes WHITE dental plus special?

The active ingredients of WHITE dental plus are absorbed into saliva through digestion and have a gentle effect on the teeth. The natural active ingredients soften the tartar so that it can dissolve. Since it is a natural product, it takes time to work. The duration of administration of WHITE dental plus varies depending on age, location and thickness of the tartar, the state of the teeth and the quality of the feed. As a rule, 6 to 8 weeks are required for initial success. In some cases, use can last 12 weeks or longer.
Patience is very important here, but there are also limits to natural teeth cleaning. If the tartar is already thick, mineral, lumpy, and spread over many teeth, you have waited too long and may have made mistakes in diet and chewing material. Tartar always has a cause.
Identify and remove tartar triggers!
Tartar doesn't just appear out of nowhere. In most cases, food and a lack of chewing material are the triggers for tartar and plaque. In addition, there is a shifting pH value in the mouth. This can be a problem, especially for small dogs whose teeth are too narrow due to their breeding. WHITE dental plus naturally contains iodine, which is a vital nutrient for healthy dogs. However, it is not suitable for dogs with thyroid disease. If iodine is listed under “Additives” or “Nutritional physiological additives” in the feed declaration, this means that it has been artificially added to the feed. However, with high-quality feed this is not necessary and it suggests inferior industrial feed. If you still feed food that contains artificial iodine, you should take a break of about 2 weeks after 6 weeks. Please note and it is advisable to switch to high-quality wet food without additives.
Can I also give WHITE dental plus preventively?
Yes, using DOG FIT by PreThis® WHITE dental plus can also be used as a precaution, but there are some important considerations. WHITE dental plus is effective in reducing tartar and can therefore serve as a precautionary measure to maintain dental health. However, it is important to understand that it primarily addresses the tartar itself and not its underlying cause.
For holistic oral hygiene, it is therefore essential to find out and address the causes of tartar formation. This includes, for example, checking and, if necessary, optimizing your diet.
