Information for WHITE dental plus and FRESH customers

WHITE dental plus is mixed with the food or given in a treat (cottage cheese, liver sausage, etc.). The dog gets a measuring spoon for every 10 kg of weight daily (the measuring spoon is in the packaging). The little fur noses around 1 to 2 kg are fed a measuring spoonful every 2nd day.

The active ingredients of WHITE dental plus go through digestion into the saliva and thus to the charms; without The natural active ingredients soften the tartar so that it can dissolve. As a natural product, it takes time to take effect, you have to be aware of that. However, the duration of administration of WHITE dental cannot be generalized. 6 to 8 weeks at least for first successes. Depending on the age, position and thickness of the tartar, the tooth position (especially small breeds with tooth positions that are too narrow due to breeding) and the food quality, even 12 weeks or longer.

Patience is very important here, please stay tuned and don't throw in the towel after just 6 weeks. But there are also limits to natural cleansing. If the tartar is already very thick, mineral, knobbly, full-surface and spread over many teeth, you have unfortunately waited far too long and possibly made some mistakes in terms of nutrition and chewing material. Because tartar always has a cause and has nothing to do with age or race! By the way: brushing your teeth is something for humans and not for dogs. You don't even remove tartar with it.

The FRESH herb mix is ​​added together with WHITE dental plus if bad breath and/or gum inflammation also occurs. ttert, since FRESH acts against the bacteria nesting in the tartar, which can trigger both (the bacteria produce gases, which we perceive as bad breath and can trigger inflammation in the oral cavity). Please also mix in the food once a day or give it in a treat. FRESH can show its effect on bad breath and/or gingivitis a little faster, 2 to 4 weeks. Please feed FRESH just as long as WHITE dental plus, because the bacteria can spread in the organism and cause heart, liver and kidney problems in the long term.

Dental care with coffee tree wood

A piece of chewing stick from the coffee tree can help loosen the tartar. The wood of the coffee tree has special properties: it does not splinter, is durable and its surface is softened by saliva and acquires a fibrous consistency. This allows the dog's teeth to dip into the wood. The fibers support the abrasion of the tartar softened by WHITE dental plus and, after tartar removal, the plaque that can turn into tartar over time. Especially in the case of small breeds, which are particularly susceptible due to the fact that the teeth are too narrow, one must pay very close attention to the feed ingredients. Of course, the food has to be right, even for large breeds. However, many dog ​​owners do not know that they are feeding them industrial food, even though 90% of all foods are exactly this.

But I feed good food! Really?

The brand sounds great, the whole presentation looks convincing, the manufacturers also promise that there are no harmful grains in it and there is even a wolf on the website. The feed industry is very adept at not declaring tartar-causing and, above all, harmful ingredients as such, and they are not obliged to do so for many! Successful tartar removal and prophylaxis are largely dependent on the food and chewing material, and dry food is the unhealthy ready-made pizza for dogs. This doesn’t belong in any bowl!

If a food with tartar-promoting content is fed, even the best product cannot show its effect, or it takes a very long time and is not sustainable. But the promotion of tartar is only the minor evil with many feeds. Dry food in particular is jointly responsible for many other diseases (kidney insufficiency, thyroid, heart and liver diseases, leaky gut and other intestinal problems, etc.). What does the feed declaration on the packaging really mean?

Is actually “Fresh Beef” included if it says so? How is the meat content cheated? What is Meat Meal Really? What does hydrolyzed beef, lamb or poultry protein mean? WHITE dental plus naturally contains iodine, which is an essential nutrient for your dog. 

If iodine is listed in the feed declaration under "additives" or "nutritional additives", it is added to the feed afterwards and artificially. This is not necessary for a high-quality feed and suggests an inferior industrial feed. However, feeding with dry food should generally be avoided, because it has nothing to do with nutrition. If such a food should continue to be fed, there is a break of approx. 2 weeks after 6 weeks. Please take this into consideration and it is recommended to change the feeding to a high quality wet food.
